Sneak Peek: Slave-1
Front Page January 15th, 2010Slave-1 is a bike I’m building for myself. It’s supposed to be a vintage pan head from the future, and is also an homage to Boba Fett. That ole’ chestnut. I’m at about 90%… couple more things to button up. Then it’s gonna get “painted” … if you could call rust and anger a form of paint.

You’ll notice the offset headlights in the fairing. They’re both from PIAA – the larger is the primary and the smaller one is a high intensity. I’ve been wanting to build a bike with front fairing for a while, but never had the stones to do it.
I made these triple trees a few months back. They’re steel, and pretty much the best thing ever. Aside from these fork sliders, which we’re now making. They’re 2.5″ shorter than stock FXWG sliders, perfect for when clearance becomes an issue. And yes, there are two calipers on each front rotor. Since they’re only dual piston, the sum total of the front brakes will be the same as running dual disc Brembos.
Jockey shift? Holy Shit kickstand? Bad ass tail light? Yes, yes and heck yes.
Pipes drop down into a little collector, just under the kicker. And no, you’re not going blind, that is a clear oil tank, ala Revenge. I’ve had this lexan in the shop for a few years, so decided it was time to put it to use.
Yeah, I know. Open Chain primary.

Nice. My two cents?
Add some olive drab, and the Mandilorian commando skull logo… ( you know.. before Lucas re-wrote Fett’s history.)
Oh. And some blasters.

Great……… I’ve got a spare set of FHLX wheels just like those…. just got to get a rubber mounted frame and a rubber mounted Sportster donor motor and hopefully at some stage there will be a Detroit rolling in Wales UK . I’ve not seen any in the UK yet but just a matter of time. Love your stuff…….its nasty looking.

That fender derived fairing is pure fackin genius. Same goes for the caliper mounts. Your creativity is very inspiring
