New Girders…
News February 1st, 2010Here’s a shot of Aaron’s girder. It was originally (I think) a Durfee girder, back in the day. He made new triple trees and rocker arms for it, and he cut and bent the legs, and made new axle mounts. I think the only thing that’s original is some of the steel in the legs, and the spring. So my question to you is: if we made these, would you buy one and how much would you pay?

We’ve been kicking it around for a while, so I figured I would ask you, our loyal readers… Don’t worry, I’m not going to hold you to it, but assuming it had a coil over shock, and they were available in wide glide (shown) or narrow glide, whaddya think?

Durfee claims that their Girder weighs less than 29 pounds in stock length.
I’d get it if you can match that and cost less(not hard, since theirs is outrageously priced). Probably no more than a Donnie Smith girder discount price.
